Two of my favorite projects were designing an informational packet for VIC5326: Digital Layout and my final portfolio website in MMC5277: Web Design Principles.

I’m originally from Costa Rica but have lived in Southern California most of my life. Prior to this program, I earned an Associates in Language Arts and Communications and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I have always liked design and it wasn’t until I found this program that I thought I could seriously pursue a career in the field. The digital world is the future and I enjoy learning about how we communicate through web design and online communication.
A couple of my highlights in the program thus far include being featured for work I did in MMC5277: Web Design Principles and VIC5315: Corporate Brand Identity on the Web. It’s great to know my hard work was appreciated and it pushes me to continue improving my skills.
One of the main reasons I chose UF was because of the uniqueness of the WDOC program. The fact that UF is one of the top schools in the nation also was a factor. Last but not least, the ability to take any course in the department after graduation through Master Access is exciting.
All my professors have been exceptional and it has been a great pleasure learning from them.
Being with family, reading the Bible, designing, listening to music, playing Bass Guitar, watching soccer and binge watching television shows.
