Len Gutman
Adjunct Instructor
Len Gutman is a seasoned communications strategist with experience across nonprofit leadership, corporate communications, higher education, and public relations. As principal of LG Impact, he helps organizations strengthen their visibility and advance their mission through strategic marketing, public relations, fundraising, and community engagement.
His early corporate work includes communications roles with Delta Air Lines, Insight.com, University of Phoenix, and AlliedSignal Aerospace. He later transitioned to mission-driven leadership, serving in key roles at Ronald McDonald House Charities, Jewish Family & Child Services, Special Olympics, and the American Heart Association, where he led initiatives in donor relations, fundraising, and organizational development. In addition to teaching at the University of Florida, Len also teaches at Arizona State University and South Mountain Community College.
Len is committed to strengthening civic and philanthropic ecosystems and serves on the board of American Resiliency, an organization focused on environmental and community resilience.
He holds a master’s degree in English from Northern Arizona University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Jose State University. He lives in Arizona with his wife, Leslie.
