Dr. Joe Sallustio is Chief Industry Engagement Officer and Senior Vice President at Ellucian, a global leader in educational technology serving thousands of institutions and millions of students. With nearly 25 years of experience in highereducation, he has led operations across enrollment management, marketing, student services, finance, and institutional strategy. He previously held senior leadership roles at Lindenwood University, Claremont Lincoln University, and National American University, contributing to institutional growth and student success initiatives.
In addition to his executive leadership, Joe is co-founder, host, and co-producer of The EdUp Experience Podcast and its broader network, where he engages with university presidents, system leaders, and industry experts on innovation and leadership in higher education. His work in podcasting informs his teaching, offering students practical insight into content strategy, interviewing, production, and audience engagement. He holds degrees from SUNY Oneonta and Regis University, along with a doctorate in education (Ed.D.).
