Haytham Al-Rabeah is a public relations and strategic communication professional with a strong academic foundation in media, technology, and digital strategy. He holds both a B.S. in Public Relations and an M.S. in Global Strategic Communication from Florida International University, where his studies sparked a deep commitment to teaching and social impact. Since 2017, Haytham has taught across multiple institutions, working with diverse student populations while remaining active in the industry, particularly through digital strategy collaborations with nonprofit organizations. His dual roles in academia and practice allow him to bring real-world insight into every course he teaches.
As an educator, Haytham centers his teaching philosophy on inclusivity, curiosity, and critical engagement. He believes students learn best when their voices, experiences, and perspectives shape the learning environment. His academic interests span science and technology studies, media literacy, and the societal impacts of communication systems, areas that directly inform his courses in public interest communications. Haytham designs learning experiences that help students understand not just how information flows, but why it matters, encouraging them to think deeply about equity, ethics, and the broader social implications of their work.
