Kevin Crowsyn, M.A.

Kevin Crowsyn is a communications strategist, educator, and longtime U.S. Army professional with extensive experience in military communication, digital transformation, recruiting, and emerging media. Since joining the Army in 2001, he has helped pioneer digital transformation efforts within the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, co-authored two official Army doctrinal publications, and launched the Army’s first large-scale digital recruiting initiative.
Crowsyn earned his M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Florida. He also founded and served as the inaugural president of UF’s Association of Military Alumni. The UF Alumni Association recognized him with its 2024 Inclusive Leadership Award for Industry Achievement and its 2025 Leader of the Year Award.
Since 2023, Crowsyn has taught Emerging Media and the Market in West Virginia University’s graduate Integrated Marketing Communications program. His teaching explores how artificial intelligence, chatbots, augmented and virtual reality, and other emerging technologies influence contemporary marketing strategy.
Crowsyn has spoken at events hosted by the Public Relations Society of America, National Association of Government Communicators, Social Media Strategies Summit, Military Influencer Conference, Veterans Social Summit, and other organizations. He and his wife also operate Crowsyn Creative, a boutique marketing and consulting firm in the Tampa Bay area.
