Data Science & Consumer Insights Leader
Dr. Felbab has over 20 years of corporate experience in data science, predictive analytics, and consumer research. She has held leadership roles at companies in diverse industries, including insurance, publishing, retail, technology, hospitality, media & entertainment, and manufacturing, with notable tenures at Disney and IBM. Throughout her career, she has specialized in synthesizing and integrating diverse data sources (CRM, digital/social media, market, operations, sales, survey, etc.) into actionable insights and predictive models.
She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Educational Psychology, specializing in statistics and measurement. She has taught various graduate-level analytics, statistics, research methods, and psychometric measurement courses. While she is a self-described “statistics nerd,” she finds great joy in unraveling the psychology of consumers and exploring the creative side of analytics. She is endlessly fascinated with the challenge of combining art with science to create the most actionable insights and models possible, and she is passionate about using analytics to understand the needs of consumers to enhance their interactions and experiences.
