Evan Kropp

Evan Kropp, Ph.D.

Director of UF CJC Online

Evan is responsible for oversight of all the College’s graduate distance learning efforts. His primary responsibilities include supervising the CJC Online Program Directors, faculty and staff. He also serves as a liaison with other units in the university, other educational institutions and external service providers. Evan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and M.A. and B.A. degrees in Communication from the University of Hartford.

Jennifer Ford

Jennifer Ford, MA

Marketing & Communications Director

Jennifer is the Marketing and Communications Director for UF CJC Online and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Web Design and Online Communication master’s program. Prior to obtaining her master’s degree, Jen earned a B.A. in Mass Communication from Idaho State University, specializing in visual communication. She also serves as the founding president of AIGA Gainesville and is passionate about design and community building.

Daressa Howard, MA

Admissions & Enrollment Coordinator

Daressa proudly serves as the Admission and Enrollment Coordinator for the UF CJC Online graduate programs. Daressa is a graduate of the University of Florida, earning her bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Thereafter, she attended the University of Central Florida, earning a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration with a concentration in Higher Education. Daressa is passionate about connecting students of all backgrounds to renowned educational opportunities and is most excited to implement the extensive knowledge that she has gained from her previous roles in the University Enrollment Management division, to serve and support the dynamic students who look to enroll in our programs.

Ophir Lehavy

Ophir Lehavy

Student Success Coach

Ophir Lehavy is an adjunct lecturer and success coach for the master’s in mass communications program at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications. In addition to her work at UF, Lehavy works with select clients as a PR and communications consultant. Her most recent project includes working with an author on her online strategy – social media, website, influencer outreach, blog, and email – for a high-profile book launch. Ophir Lehavy completed her graduate work in 2001 at Columbia University’s Teachers College with a master’s in teaching, after also completing a master’s degree in Middle East Studies from New York University in 1997. She completed her bachelor’s degree in 1994 at Georgetown University majoring in History.

Tiffany Robbert

Tiffany Robbert, MA

Graduate Student Advisor

Tiffany is a double Gator, having received both a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master of Arts in mass communications in web design and online communications from the University of Florida. With over nine years in the academic and nonprofit sectors, Tiffany uses her extensive experience with digital development, event management, customer service, and strategic communications to provide the best possible support to staff, faculty, alumni, and students of the distance learning program. Kris Murphy

Kris Murphy, MS

Graduate Student Advisor

Kris is a Graduate Student Advisor for UF CJC Online. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Before coming to Florida, she worked in undergraduate admissions and for a non-profit foundation supporting a museum. Amy Jo Coffey

Amy Jo Coffey, P.hD.

Audience Analytics Program Director

Dr. Coffey’s research centers on media management and economics, and audience valuation and non-English language audiences in the United States in particular. She has examined linguistic market segmentation and Hispanic television audiences, as well as the legal and economic questions of market definition. Learn more about the Audience Analytics program.

Robert Grupp

Robert Grupp

Global Strategic Communication Program Director

Robert Grupp is the director of the master of arts in mass communications graduate program in global strategic communication in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. Lisa Hope

Lisa Hope, MA

Digital Strategy Program Director

Lisa graduated from the College in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism specializing in online media, and a MAMC in social media in 2014. In a previous position, she led marketing efforts for the College’s distance programs, focusing on lead generation, brand building, and social media. Currently, she is the Digital Strategy Program Director and professor. She teaches copywriting and gamification.

Richard Kalehoff

Richard Kalehoff, MA

Web Design Program Director

Richard Kalehoff is a graduate of Belhaven University with a degree in Computer Science, where he received the school’s Computer Science award. He also has a degree from the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications with an MA in Web Design and Online Communication. Before graduating from the University of Florida, he had already been asked by the University to come on board as a faculty member. Richard taught for several years before becoming the Director of the Web Design Program.

Ellen Nodine, M.Ed.

Public Interest Communication Program Director

Ellen Nodine is the Director of Programs and Training at the Center for Public Interest Communications at the University of Florida. Ellen is also adjunct faculty for the College of Journalism and Communications, teaching multimedia writing in the journalism department. Ellen has served as the lead organizer for the frank gathering since its inception in 2014. She also is the operational director for Changeville, an annual festival for artists using their work to drive positive social change. Ellen received her Master of Education from UF, with a specialization in education technology and curriculum development. 

Patrick O'Keefe

Patrick O’Keefe, MA

Political Communication Program Director

Patrick O’Keefe serves as the Director of Political Success for Anedot, one of the leading online fundraising platforms for political campaigns and non-profit organizations. Patrick previously served as the Executive Director for the Maryland Republican Party, Head of Growth for an ed-tech start-up, and has served as a digital marketing consultant for more than three dozen companies. Patrick was a graduate with distinction from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications Master of Arts in Mass Communication with a specialization in Web Design and Online Communication. He graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University after serving as Student Body President and University Trustee.

Andrew Selepak

Andrew Selepak, Ph.D.

Social Media Program Director

Dr. Andrew Selepak is the program director for the social media online master’s degree specialization. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia in American History, an MA from George Mason University in Communications, and a Ph.D. from the University of Florida in mass communications.
