Brittani Sahm, Ph.D.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication at Rollins College
Adjunct Instructor at the University of Florida

Dr. Brittani Sahm is a visiting professor at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida. Her broad teaching and research interests include strategic communication, digital audience analysis, and corporate social advocacy and responsibility. Much of her research focuses on the application of these ideas in the sports realm.

Dr. Sahm is a proud double graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned her M.S. in Sport Management and her Ph.D. in Mass Communication. While at UF, she taught for the CJC undergraduate program and worked as a content tutor for the University Athletic Association.

Outside of academia, Dr. Sahm worked for Williams College and Washington and Lee University as a sports information assistant prior to graduate school. More recently, she worked for Chromatic Games, an indie video game studio in Gainesville, as a Community Manager. One thing Dr. Sahm strives to bring to all her roles is the power of active listening – if organizations are not listening, they are not learning. If they are not learning, they are not growing.
